The 109th U.S. Congress adjourned yesterday morning with the first session of the 110th Congress set to begin on January 3, 2007. The Library of Congress’s THOMAS website is the place to track federal legislation in what promises to be quite an interesting next year. The South Carolina General Assembly will begin its 117th session (2007-2008) on January 9, 2007. If you’re interested in checking out the bills pre-filed this month by members of the Senate and House you may do so by clicking on the Pre-filed Bills link on the Current Legislation page of our SC Legislature Online website.
