International Criminal Court Issues First Sentence

The International Criminal Court, headquartered in The Hague and established in 1998, issued its first sentence today. The Court sentenced former Congolese warlord Thomas Lubanga to 14 years in prison for recruting and using child soldiers in 2002 and 2003. Find out more here.
